I am 62 years old and I’ve been a MedicAlert member for around 40 years.

Since my retirement, I travel as extensively as I can. Being a MedicAlert member has given me security and independence based on the knowledge that my medical details can be accessed quickly worldwide.

It is comforting to know that whether I am in China, New York, Barcelona or London, information about the medication I take can be quickly determined to keep me safe and well should I become ill.

I am a retired registered nurse so I know the value of having accurate medical details in a crisis situation and how this can make all the difference, which is why I wear my MedicAlert bracelet at all times.

I also coach in projectile sports, so I am often out in the countryside alone, and get confidence from being sure my details are quickly available if needed, helping me stay active and independent.
